Rick has installed Plantation Shutters on my last two homes. He did a great job, and brought in temporary blinds till the custom shutters were installed. The experience with America's Blind Crafters could not of gone smoother. Returned phone call within hours of leaving message. Scheduled appointment to measure and look at samples. Brought in vast selections to try to match to dining room, shades to table and hutch. Installed and verified that all blinds were working correctly. The price was much less than anticipated. We recently had new windows put in throughout the house. It was time to dump the old mini-blinds and find some better quality window treatments for the house. However, when the new windows were put in, the window installer put extra trim inside the window, so I was certain that all the windows would need an outer mounting and I wasn't that excited about how that would look. We called Rick at America's Blind Crafters. He came out and measured all the widows and showed us different types of blinds. When I voiced my concern on the window mount, to my surprise he said there was room for an inner mount. He didn't rush us through the appointment and gave us a free estimate on the spot. We decided to go ahead and order that day. We went with cellular blinds throughout the house and a faux wood blind for one window. My blinds came in and Rick came back and installed them with the inner window mounting as promised. After he left, there was no sign that he had been there except for the beautiful new window treatments throughout the house. He didn't leave any messes of boxes behind. I am certain had we purchased from a retail store and installed them ourselves. We would have done an outer mount and I know the blinds would not have looked so great. I am extremely satisfied with America's Blind Crafters expertise and prices.

Rick came out originally to look at the project, share options, and measure. A day later I received a quote from him. It was more than I anticipated and he didn't flinch or try to give me a “deal”. He gave me other options that would be cheaper. I went with the original quote as I felt it was my best option and comfortable that I was not being given an inflated rate. He came back out again to measure and said it would take a couple of weeks to get everything in. I gave Him a deposit and in about 10 days the blinds were in. I travel a lot for business so when I contacted him to install, I was home one day before leaving again. He had a major project that day, but scheduled me after that project so I could get them as soon as possible. He called to let me know that he would be a few minutes late, arrived and worked his butt off getting everything installed. He could easily put me off for another week or so, but did not.

Rick could not have been friendlier. He was personable, professional, and friendly. He was even friendly to my scared dog! I will definitely use him in the future and would recommend him highly to others.

Last year I purchased wood blinds from Rick and felt so comfortable with him I had him back for shutters. He was very patient with me when I was trying to decide which color went best with my painted woodwork. He would move his sample piece neat different shades of light so I could see how the color would look.
